We have a heartbeat!
I had my first ultrasound appointment with my RE today. I was a nervous wreck going in, but as soon as she got started, we saw the baby and the heartbeat. She didn't tell us the bpm, but she said it was strong. I couldn't help but start to cry when we saw that little flicker. The baby measured 6w6d which is exactly on target for where I am based on my cycle.
After the ultrasound, I officially graduated from my RE and was told to call my OB when I got home. I did, and I have my first OB appointment on Friday. Eek! I can hardly believe it.
I know I'm not out of the woods yet, but today was a huge step in the right direction.

3rd Betas
Today I had more blood drawn. My betas came back at 2500. In my head, I thought it should be closer to 3000, but the nurse said it's a very appropriate number. After some googling, it seems like maybe hcg starts to take to take a little longer to double after it reaches 1200-1500. That made me feel better about today's number.
My ultrasound is schedule for 12/23, so now I've got just about two more weeks of waiting until I know for sure how things are going.

Second Betas
Today, I'm 4w2d, and I went in for my second round of blood work. My betas were 530, so it more than doubled in 48 hours! My progesterone was 62, so I can stop taking the supplements. I'll go in next week for another blood draw, and then I'll hopefully have an ultrasound the following week. After that, I'll hopefully be released to my OB. We've cleared the first and second hurdles, so here's hoping things continue to go well.

IUI #2 Worked!
Last Friday, at 9dpo, I got a squinter of a BFP. I was nervous because it was so early, and I thought it might be residual from my trigger (I was 11 days past trigger). The lines got darker, though, and today, my betas came back at 202. My BFP was so much earlier this time, and my betas are so much higher, so I'm feeling hopeful. I go back on Friday to make sure the numbers are doubling.

I'm a nervous wreck, but today, I'm pregnant. My EDD is 8/12/15.

Happy Thanksgiving!
It's been a while since I've posted, so I figured I'd give an update. We did our first IUI cycle in October (clomid, trigger, IUI, progesterone), and it wasn't successful. We've had the same treatment plan for this cycle, and my IUI was on 11/19. Betas are scheduled for 12/3, but if I'm getting negatives at home at that point, I'll just call me RE's office and wait for CD 3 blood work.
Since it's Thanksgiving, it only seems appropriate make a list of all of the things that I'm thankful for.
1. I'm thankful that my insurance covers IF testing/treatment 100%, so other than copays for meds, this process hasn't cost us anything.
2. I'm thankful that I'm healthy enough to run and that I finished a 5 mile race with a decent time this morning (52:26).
3. I'm thankful for the turkey that's cooking in my oven and the rest of the yummy dinner that my husband and I will be eating in a few hours.
4. I'm thankful for my family, the yummy desserts I'm going to eat with them later, and the laughs I know we're going to have
5. I'm thankful for my job and coworkers. We had an awesome harvest festival with the kids yesterday, and I love that everyone on our team pitched in to make it fun for our students.
I could probably list lots of other things, but those were the first to come to mind. Hopefully I'll have something else to be thankful for in a few days.

Another thing checked off the list!
I finally got my H to the RE's office this morning to get the blood work that he needed done (infectious disease screening). I needed to go with him because we had a consent that needed to be signed in person in order to avoid getting it notarized. Yay for getting those two things done, finally! I'm actually starting to get excited about this treatment cycle now that we're getting all of our ducks in a row.
Fertility Friend moved my crosshairs again (back to CD 19 from CD 21), so I think I'm 11 dpo. If that's the case, my period should be here by Monday or Tuesday, but if the later O day was correct, it may be closer to Wednesday or Thursday. I'm actually really hoping it works out so that my CD 3 blood work (and ultrasound?) appointment falls on the weekend. Fingers crossed.

One step closer..
Today, I got home from work to a box full of fertility meds on my front porch. Happy early birthday to me!
I'm either 5 or 7 dpo depending on which O date I believe (FF moved my CHs from CD 19 to 21), and my period should be here in about a week. Then, I'll most likely be starting my first medicated cycle. I've got my 5 Clomid tablets, ovidrel syringe, and two week's work of progesterone ready to go.
My biggest worry it about the amount of work I'll be missing throughout this cycle. I need to go with H next week for his blood work and to sign the consent for treatment together (in order to avoid getting it notarized), and unless that magically lines up with my CD 3 appointment, I'll end up going into work late two days next week. Then, I'll miss another morning around CD 12 for monitoring, a few hours whenever we schedule the IUI, and then probably a morning again when I need to go in for betas. I work about 50 minutes from my RE's office, so even a blood work appointment at 7:30am means I'm an hour late for work. Honestly, I'm just afraid people will assume I'm pregnant and start asking questions. Ugh.
IF sucks, but I'm trying to look on the bright side. Maybe just one medicated IUI cycle will be all we need.
