HSG and Underactive Thyroid

My blood work results from Monday are still slowly trickling in. On Wednesday afternoon, I got a call telling me that my TSH levels came back high. Anything .4-5 is considered normal, and ideally, they want it around 2 for TTC. Mine came back at 8.02. I had no idea I had a thyroid issue as I have no symptoms, but I'm on medication now to try to lower those levels and they'll recheck the level in 4-6 weeks.

Then, yesterday, I had my HSG. It sucked. The pain wasn't unbearable, but it was pretty bad. I hope I don't ever have to do that again. The radiologist said that my right tube is clear, but he couldn't tell if my left one was. My left tube is the one I had surgery on, so it would make sense if it's blocked. I won't know his definite assessment until my RE gets the results and gives me a call.

So, for now, I'm just waiting for them to receive the rest of my blood work and the HSG results. At that point, we'll be able to schedule a consultation to discuss our next steps. My guess is that we'll have to hold off on any treatment cycles until my TSH levels are lower. We'll see.
